If you’re in Paris and want a fun day trip, head to Reims, the heart of France’s Champagne region. It’s just 45 minutes by train from Paris Gare de l’Est to Gare de Reims, and once you arrive, taxis and Ubers are easy to find. The city itself is walkable, charming, and full of history, with plenty to explore beyond the Champagne houses.

Getting Around
From the train station, it’s best to rely on taxis or Ubers between Champagne houses and lunch spots. They are readily available, safe, simple, and lets you fully enjoy the tastings without worry. Reims is compact enough to walk between some locations, but having rides lined up will make the day much smoother.


Champagne Houses to Visit
1. Veuve Clicquot
Start your day at one of Champagne’s most iconic names. Veuve Clicquot offers an elegant and informative tour that dives into the history of the house and the art of blended rosé Champagne.
