If you’re in Budapest and want a dining experience that combines elegance, delicious food, and excellent service, you must try KOLLÁZS Brasserie & Bar at the Four Seasons Budapest Gresham Palace. My husband Brian and I recently went there with a group of friends, and it was such a fantastic night.
As soon as we walked in, we loved the atmosphere—it’s both classy and welcoming, making it a great spot for a special occasion or just a fun night out.
Most of us went for the tasting menu with wine pairings, and it was a hit! Every course impressed us, from the chilled soup to the snapper and the venison. Our server walked us through each dish, and the sommelier paired some excellent local Hungarian wines that matched perfectly with the meal.
The tasting menu has eight courses, so be ready to settle in for about three hours. And yes, it includes not one but two desserts, both of which were indulgent and a perfect way to wrap up the meal.
If the tasting menu isn’t your thing, the regular menu has plenty of choices, from foie gras to steak and seafood. The restaurant also offers up brunch that has extensive options and is widely popular, so be sure to make a reservation.
Overall, dining at the Four Seasons Restaurant in Budapest was nothing short of exceptional.
