Osteria Filetto d’oro

Osteria Filetto d’oro is a great go-to spot for a taste of Tuscan goodness. They’re famous for their traditional desserts, all made with top-notch local ingredients. A couple of must-try dishes are their wild boar pappardelle pasta and Florentine steak, as well as the complimentary limoncello shots to accompany the semifreddo for dessert.  The cozy vibe and top-notch service make it a must-visit.

La Schiacciata

Located in the Mercato Centrale, La Schiacciata Restaurant, offers a laid-back atmosphere, budget-friendly prices, and mouthwatering food.  Their schiacciata is out of this world – crispy on the outside, soft on the inside, and loaded with delicious toppings like fresh tomatoes, olive oil, and herbs. Plus, they offer a selection of toppings, so you can customize it to your liking.  Additionally, their menu features irresistible Tuscan classics such as ribollita soup and pappa al pomodoro. You’re in for a treat; this place is a culinary gem!

La Buchetta

La Buchetta is a charming eatery with a delightful array of authentic Italian dishes.  If, like me, you’re a big cheese fan, try the incredibly fresh mozzarella taster plate, or their simple yet delicious Pici Pasta, a homemade spaghetti tossed in a giant wheel of cheese and served with fresh shaved truffle.  I’m told their signature dish is their devil and angel gnocchi and has a creamy and spicy goodness.  The warm and welcoming ambiance, coupled with the friendly staff, creates an inviting atmosphere that makes you feel right at home. Whether you’re looking for a romantic dinner or a memorable dining experience with friends and family, La Buchetta Food & Wine is a good choice. Buon appetito!
