As I looked back at the photos from our stay at Casa Negro, I was reminded of just how much we loved this place. My husband and I were fortunate enough to spend six delightful September nights at this wonderful villa.
A Perfectly Smooth Experience
We booked through Etouri Vacation Rental Management in Greece. Almost immediately, Etouri’s personal concierge reached out to us offering assistance with restaurant reservations, tour recommendations, and car rental suggestions. I reached out to them for assistance several times prior to our trip, as well as during our trip, and they were always very helpful and responded within minutes. They even arranged for a masseuse to come to the villa and provide me with a relaxing 90-minute outdoor massage. They met us upon arrival, and even stocked the house with milk, water, coffee, yogurt, chocolate, and fruit. We had a minor little issue during our stay, but they were right on top of it. Initially, I was a bit hesitant booking with a company I was unfamiliar with. However, it worked out perfectly, and we wouldn’t hesitate to book with them again.
A Perfect Location
The villa is just a quick 10-minute/$7 Uber ride to old town Rethymno. It ended up being our favorite town we visited while on Crete. There are several restaurants within walking distance from the villa, including several that are located right on the water. Check out the beautiful views and fresh lobster at Thalasses), or if you don’t feel like going out, have Gyros delivered and take in a movie on the outdoor screen.
A Stunning Villa Inside and Out
As you can see from the villa video, this house itself is simply stunning. It’s the outdoor space, however, that really makes it next level. In fact, we actually tried to extend our stay at this perfect little oasis. Unfortunately, it was already booked. Since we were unsure if the squatting laws in Greece would require jail time, we reluctantly agreed to move on.
