Last winter, my mom and I decided last minute to book a trip to France departing on December 26. We toured all around the south of France and were only going to have time to spend 1 day in Paris. I’ve been to Paris a few times, but my mom had never been, so I wanted to make the most out of our limited time in the City of Light. I found this guided motorized bike tour, and the route promised to take us by all the iconic spots, so I decided we’d give it a whirl.
When we arrived, we had a 30-minute instruction and practice session to make sure we were ready. These bikes are different from typical electric bikes since there’s no pedaling necessary. Our guide, Thomas, was super knowledgeable and friendly, making the experience great.

I loved that even though we were short on time, my mom got to see all the iconic spots like the Eiffel Tower, the Louvre, and Notre-Dame, as well as some hidden gems, and the fact that we got to do it in such an enjoyable and unique way, was an added bonus. To this day, my mom still talks about how much fun we had on this bike tour. If you’re looking for a unique and fast way to see the highlights of Paris, you’ll love this tour. It’s great fun and a fabulous way to experience the charm and beauty of Paris up close!
