If you’ve read a few of my blog posts, you’ll know I’m all about a good girls’ trip. So, once my eight friends and I settled on Paris for our next girls’ adventure, I was excited to set about making plans, including finding a good place to stay. Luckily, I was able to get some good advice on all things Paris from a former colleague of mine that purchased an apartment there few years back. He recommended we base ourselves in Saint Germain, a centrally located neighborhood in Paris’s 6th arrondissement.
After some research, I stumbled upon Hotel Odeon Saint Germain, and it exceeded all our expectations. Located amidst iconic landmarks, cozy cafes, and boutiques, the hotel offered the quintessential Parisian experience. Saint Germain is known for its art galleries, bookstores, antique shops, and is brimming with Parisian charm.
The check-in process was seamless, and our Classic Double Room, though compact (typical for Parisian accommodations), was comfortable and well-appointed. Some of our group opted for the more spacious Family Room, which comfortably accommodated three.
Breakfast at the hotel was simple yet great, featuring croissants, crepes, Croque-Monsieur, fruits, cheeses, cereals, yogurt, juice, and coffee—a perfect start to our Parisian mornings.
The team at Hotel Odeon deserve a shout out for being so fabulous. They answered all of my questions in advance of our arrival, offered us friendly advice on great things to do, made dinner reservations, and were very accommodating. Despite our occasional lively gatherings in the lobby lounge, they remained warm and accommodating throughout our stay.
Everyone in our group found Hotel Odeon to be a gem. The ambiance, prime location, and most importantly the exceptional service gave us an incredible stay that we won’t soon forget. It was the perfect choice for our Parisian adventure.
