An Inside Look at Marriott Hotel Grand Place in Brussels Belgium

In mid-December, my mom and I decided to book a last-minute trip to Brussels to visit their famous Christmas markets. We chose the Brussels Marriott Hotel Grand Place for its central location, which turned out to be perfect. It’s close to the Grand Place, yet far enough from the main square to be pleasantly quiet in the evenings.

Fortunately, I was able to use Marriott points for our booking, which was quite lucky during the Christmas season. If you’re considering this property while visiting the Christmas markets, the

The hotel caters to both business and leisure travelers. Check-in was quick and easy. The modern decor throughout the property was fresh and tidy. Our room was updated, extremely clean, and quite spacious, though the beds were a bit firm for my liking, which I often find in Europe. The hotel also has a small workout room that suffices for a quick exercise session.

I recommend saying yes to the breakfast. While it’s a bit pricey, as hotel breakfasts tend to be, the quality and variety of offerings were excellent. The Belgian chocolate fountain alone made it worth it.

For dinner, the hotel’s restaurant, Rotisse, offers a wide selection including veal, steak, chicken, fish, burgers, and salads. Additionally, there are various restaurants within walking distance.

Although we stayed for just two nights, we found the hotel to be comfortable, with friendly staff and an unbeatable location. I would definitely stay here again.
